Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares about 4×4 inches.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Place a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square, then add sliced strawberries on top.
- Carefully fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket, sealing the edges gently.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg to achieve a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
