Description

A delightful one-pan meal with tender sirloin steak, cheesy tortellini, and vibrant spinach, perfect for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper, then place it in the skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Once the steak is ready, add fresh spinach to the skillet and stir until wilted (about 2 minutes).
  5. Combine the cooked tortellini with the seared steak and wilted spinach in the skillet. Toss everything gently to combine.

Notes

For a flavorful twist, consider adding pesto or Alfredo sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
