  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the brown sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the maple syrup and egg until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
