- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the brown sugar and butter until smooth.
- Beat in the maple syrup and egg until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over the cooled cookies before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to three months.
