A hearty breakfast bake layered with sausage, tortillas, eggs, and cheese, perfect for any morning gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 8 tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the tortillas.
  5. Add half of the cooked sausage on top of the tortillas.
  6. Pour half of the egg mixture over the sausage, then sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining tortillas, sausage, egg mixture, and top with any leftover cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until golden and cooked through.

Notes
