A hearty and flavorful casserole combining savory sausage, crispy hash browns, and cheesy goodness, perfect for brunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and layer the hash browns at the bottom, followed by the sausage, onion, and bell pepper.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then pour over the hash brown mixture.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
