Delicious cookies combining rich chocolate flavor with sweet caramel and a hint of salt.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel candies
- 1 teaspoon sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually add to the creamed mixture until just blended.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel candies.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle a little sea salt on top.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
