- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
- Top the chicken with dollops of butter.
- Scatter the pepperoncini peppers on top.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is tender enough to shred easily.
- After cooking, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and stir it well with the sauce before serving.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream toward the end of cooking. Adjust the butter amount for richness or substitute with olive oil for a lighter option.
