Description
A quick and delicious blend of sweetness and savory notes, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they’re fully coated, and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour in the marinated chicken, discarding any remaining marinade. Cook the chicken until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Marinating the chicken overnight can enhance flavor. For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
