Description
A succulent chicken dish bathed in rich garlic butter, making it perfect for weeknights or special gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season the halved chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until it’s golden brown and cooked all the way through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- While the chicken cooks, melt the butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, stirring until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice, then return the seared chicken to the pan. Coat the chicken generously in the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For a juicier cut, feel free to substitute boneless thigh meat for the chicken breasts. Dried herbs can be used if fresh ones are unavailable.
