Description

A hearty and comforting one-dish casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, sweet corn, creamy sauce, and bubbling cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 4 cups Potatoes (russet or Yukon gold), diced
  • 1 cup Corn (canned or frozen)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it’s cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the browned beef with the diced potatoes, corn, and cream. Stir until everything is well-mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

For variations, consider using ground turkey or dairy-free cheese. Add toppings like crushed corn chips or diced green chilies for extra flavor.
