- 1 lb Ground beef
- 4 cups Potatoes (russet or Yukon gold), diced
- 1 cup Corn (canned or frozen)
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it’s cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the browned beef with the diced potatoes, corn, and cream. Stir until everything is well-mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For variations, consider using ground turkey or dairy-free cheese. Add toppings like crushed corn chips or diced green chilies for extra flavor.
