- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut your bread into cubes and place them in a greased casserole dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, sugar, and vanilla until well-combined.
- Pour the custard over the bread, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Press down to submerge if needed.
- Allow to sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Sprinkle sugar on top and broil for 1-2 minutes until caramelized.
Notes
Stale bread works best for better absorption. You can infuse the custard with spices or add chocolate chips for different flavors.
