Deliciously crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle, these Chocolate Chip Cookies are perfect for any occasion.

- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour (375g)
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 3/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 2 sticks Unsalted Butter, softened (1 cup or 16 tablespoons)
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed (200g)
- 1 cup Granulated (White) Sugar (200g)
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 teaspoon Flaked Sea Salt (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and creamy (about 3 minutes).
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Chill the dough for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Prepare a baking sheet.
- Scoop out heaping tablespoons of dough and form into balls.
- Arrange the dough balls on the prepared sheet.
- Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Optionally sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
- Allow cooling for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
