- 2 Chicken breasts
- 8 oz Pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 8 oz Fresh mushrooms (any type)
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and sauté until golden, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the pan; cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Mix in the cooked pasta, allowing the sauce to coat everything evenly. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or a dairy-free cream alternative.
