- 4 chicken thighs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a mixture of butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet skin-side down. Sear them until crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the cream, stirring to deglaze the pan, and let it simmer until it thickens slightly, about 5-8 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine after sautéing the garlic. Use heavy cream for a thicker sauce.
