Description
A comforting Chicken Parmesan Pasta Casserole combining tender chicken, hearty pasta, and rich marinara sauce, topped with gooey mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb Chicken breast, chopped
- 8 oz Pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 2 cups Fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves Minced garlic
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped chicken breast, marinara sauce, minced garlic, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
For added flavor, use freshly made marinara sauce. Let casserole sit for a few minutes after baking to help it set.
