- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 4 cups frozen or fresh hashbrowns
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the hashbrowns, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Fold in your shredded cooked chicken until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
For a crispy top, broil the casserole for a couple of minutes at the end. You can substitute chicken with shredded turkey or use dairy-free cheese if needed.
