- 1 can (15 oz) sloppy joe sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 1 small onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped bell pepper, garlic powder, or herbs for added seasoning
Instructions

- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef along with the chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion becomes translucent. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the sloppy joe sauce, combining it well with the beef and onions.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly across the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Open your package of refrigerated biscuits and cut each one into quarters, scattering the biscuit pieces over the meat mixture.
- Top the biscuit layer with shredded cheese, ensuring even coverage.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the biscuits are golden-brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, sauté minced garlic or bell peppers along with the onions. Don’t skip the cheese on top for a rich finish.
