Description
A flavor-packed dish combining Cajun seasoning with creamy Parmesan rigatoni that’s quick and easy for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak tips
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 8 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak tips generously with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak tips until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 3-5 minutes on each side.
- While the steak is cooking, boil water and cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
- Once the steak tips are cooked, reduce the heat. Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and integrated into the sauce.
- Drain the rigatoni and add it to the skillet with the creamy steak sauce. Toss until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For an extra kick, consider adding diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the cream mixture. Swap rigatoni for gluten-free pasta if needed.
