Description
A hassle-free recipe for a delicious and juicy Butterball turkey breast roast cooked in a Crock Pot, perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Butterball turkey breast roast (3–9 lbs) (thawed)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or nonstick spray
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Your choice of herbs and spices (thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, paprika)
- 1/2 cup broth, wine, or water
Instructions
- Pat your turkey breast dry with paper towels. If it’s boneless, keep the netting on.
- Spray or brush the turkey with olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, and your preferred herbs and spices.
- Place the turkey in the slow cooker, skin-side up, and pour in the ½ cup of broth, wine, or water.
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should be around 140°F.
- Continue cooking for another 1–2 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove the turkey, tent with foil, and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. If boneless, remove the netting afterward.
Notes
Enhance your broth with homemade options for richer flavor. Let the turkey rest for optimal juiciness.
