Description
A delicious and easy-to-make Blueberry Vanilla French Toast Bake combining soft bread, custard, and fresh blueberries, perfect for brunch or special occasions.

- Bread (preferably brioche or challah)
- 4 Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Fresh blueberries
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Cut your bread into cubes and layer half of them in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Pour half of the custard over the bread cubes. Sprinkle half the blueberries on top.
- Layer the remaining bread cubes and pour the rest of the custard over. Top with the remaining blueberries.
- Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to soak, then bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and set.
Notes
Using stale bread enhances the soak without becoming mushy. Lemon or orange zest can be added for extra flavor.
