  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).
  7. Scoop big balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.
